Indian Ocean can be colorfully called as the Indo-rock fusion

Indian Ocean took root in 1990. Susmit Sen on the guitar and Asheem Charavarthy on the tabla made their presence felt on the music scene on the Indian sub-continent. Today, the Band features the fabulous four – Susmit, Asheem, Rahul and Amit.

The collection of songs was named Indian Ocean and was released as a cassette. Then came Desert Rain a landmark album released in 1997. In 2006 the nine year old album was no. 2 on the iTunes UK world music charts!Came the second millennium, and so did Kandisa, Indian Ocean’s 3rd album, soon acquiring cult status and became a block-buster album of contemporary Indian music.

Indian Ocean the hugely popular fusion music band from Delhi is currently on a US tour and coming soon to a city near you !

hey … i like Indian ocean….they played at Siri fort….for my College’s annual celebration…..they are really good… their song….Bandeh from Black friday…..its on my phone too…..
